Readers should be able to identify relationships that could affect the material they are reading.
Article disclosures
Authors and editors should record relevant financial interests, affiliate relationships, sponsorship, supplied products or material, and automated drafting assistance. The disclosure appears with the published article.
An absent disclosure is not proof that no relationship exists. Do not infer a claim of independence from a page’s design or its inclusion in the archive.
Creator participation
Creator features may involve RUO affiliates, commentators, educators and community operators. Before publishing a profile or resource, permission, destination links and the relationship to RUO News must be recorded.
Commercial affiliations should be stated with the feature. Linking a creator’s school, community or newsletter does not establish medical expertise or endorsement of every claim made there.
Reviews and commercial information
No public vendor rating or review program is currently operating on this site. Future reviews require an explicit method, evidence for the claims made and disclosure of relevant relationships.
This policy does not assert an independently verified ownership structure or a blanket absence of commercial interests. Public ownership and contact details are still awaiting publication.
